Where It All Started...

In the heart of a bustling city, two young visionaries, Surabhi Choraria and Impana Reddy came together with a shared love for quirky stationery products. They dreamed of creating a brand that would connect with the Gen-Z crowd - combining style, creativity, and functionality. And Papermint was born.

But as their products gained popularity, they discovered a darker truth behind traditional paper production, sparking a deeper purpose: to build a brand that not only looked good but did good for the planet.

The Environmental Problem...

Behind every sheet of paper lies an unsettling truth. The traditional paper industry is destructive and relies heavily on deforestation. Each ton of paper produced from virgin pulp requires:

• 17 trees to be cut down.

• 44,000 litres of water to be used.

• Harmful bleaching chemicals that pollute water bodies.

For Papermint, this wasn’t just a statistic—it was a wake-up call to create change.

Our Sustainable Solution...

At Papermint, we are proud to offer stationery made from 100% recycled and unbleached paper, using no harmful chemicals.

• Our production saves 40,000 litres of water per ton of paper, reducing water consumption by 90% compared to traditional methods.

• We use no bleaching agents, and our covers are crafted from sustainable materials like cork, seed paper, and kraft paper, ensuring minimal environmental impact.

• The overall process consumes 77% less energy and cuts down 37% of carbon emissions.
